Before you start sending documents for signature, set up your signing flow so you can personalize and tailor your recipient's signing process.
After setting up the Emply integration, go in and set up the signing flow you want your signers to go through. This should be done through signing/sending templates. Normally this has to be done in Addo Sign, but Emply has made it easy and simple to set up signing/sending templates directly in Emply. Take a look at the article and find out how to do it.
Be aware that the signing flows you set up in Emply affect the signing flow for all signers. It is not possible to run separate flows from Emply.

Signing templates
You need to start by going over and finding the Addo Sign integration just like when setting up the integration. You will find the Addo Sign application and create the signing/sending templates as follows:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Integrations
- Then tap Applications
- Click on Addo Sign - Activated
- The following window will appear:
- Now press Add Template - It will now redirect to the following window:
- You now need to define the signing flow.
Setting up signing templates
For those who have been in Addo Sign, you may notice that the setup, features, and look of the templates are very similar to what is in Emply. The process is also very similar. You can in the article Create a new template see how it looks in Addo Sign. You set up the templates in the following way:
Basic Settings
- Insert a title so you can tell the difference between the signing flow
- Choose where the template will be available - You can choose here between Candidate, Onboarding, and Employee (you can also choose that it will be available for all functions)
- Choose an identification method under Identification - you have the choices: None, NemID, (MitID), Two Factor Verification
- Select a signing method under the Signing method - you have the options: NemID, Stylus (touchscreen), OK button, NemID Employee (Which is an option but cannot be used), or Approve
- Choose whether to send a receipt to the user - you have the options: None, MessageWithDocuments or MessageWithoutDocuments
- Choose whether to code the document when it is delivered to the signer's email. This is done under Password on signers' completed copy - you have the options: None, encrypted, or password
- Choose whether all documents should be able to be signed at once (we recommend this is always on - it is enabled when it is blue)
Invitation Message
- Choose whether the user should be notified by email or SMS
- Create a title for the email
- Modify the content of the email to make it more personal - I recommend using Merge fields. The merge fields are parameters that are printed from the system. The merge fields are the ones between the percentage signs (%sender%)
- Choose whether the user may add comments
- Choose whether the user may attach documents
Reminder Message
- Select a due date (Expiration date) - How long should the transaction be available to the signers (max 90 days supported)
- Select when the signer should be further notified. You can choose between - weekly, monthly, or no further notifications
- Choose a final reminder - how long before the due date should the signer be notified
- Choose a reminder method - Email or SMS
- Create a title for the email
- Change the content of the email to make it more personalized - Would recommend using Merge fields here. The merge fields are parameters that are printed from the system. The merge fields are the ones between the percentage signs (%sender%)
Receipt Message
- Choose a reminder method - Email or SMS
- Create a title for the email

Signers
- Choose if any permanent signer should be assigned - This is done by pressing Add Signer
- Choose if the recipients should sign in order - one by one, according to the order above
- Choose if signers can be changed before sending
Access
- Select which departments should have access to the template
- Choose which users will have access to the template
- Select which roles will have access to the template
Limitations in the signing templates
However, there are some limitations in the templates in Emply that would not be if you used Addo Sign directly:
Basic Settings
Identification
- MitID and NemID private - It is possible to use these identification methods without knowing the CPR number of the recipient. However, if you want an additional validation of the CPR number, you cannot do this. In Addo Sign, you can give the transactions CPR numbers so that only the person with that CPR number can identify himself
- NemID Employee - Emply has this identification method possible, but cannot be used as you need to insert a CVR number for the transaction to occur, and Emply does not allow this.
- Secret code - In Addo Sign you can create a secret code for identification, but Emply does not support it
- International and Scandinavian identification methods - Addo Sign offers a wide range of Scandinavian, European and international identification methods. They are not supported in Emply
Signing Method
- NemID private - It is possible to use these signing methods where you do not know the social security number of the recipient. However, if you want an additional validation on the CPR number, you cannot do this. In Addo Sign, you can give the transactions CPR numbers so that only the person with that CPR number can sign the document(s)
- NemID Employee Signature - Emply has this signing method possible, but cannot be used as you need to insert a CVR number for the transaction to occur, and Emply does not allow this.

Invitation Message
- e-Boks and Digital Post - You cannot send to the signers' digital mailbox.
Reminder message
- e-Boks and Digital Post - You cannot send to the signers' digital mailbox.
- Cannot select specific times for notification
Receipt message
- e-Boks and Digital Post - You cannot send to the signers' digital mailbox.
Other options
- Approving several documents at once is not supported in the Emply template
- Signature location not supported in Emply template
- Simple questions are not supported in the Emply template
- Cannot place fixed documents on the templates
- Copy recipients not supported in the Emply template
