If you experience the error "Sequence contains no matching elements" when trying to send a document for signature, here's a guide on how to proceed.
The error most often occurs in connection with a timeout in the browser or cookies + cache challenges. There may therefore be several possible solutions, which are detailed below. We always recommend that you try reloading your browser. If it still fails, close the browser and open a new one.
If you still get the error message, an alternative solution is to check whether it is cookies + cache that are the problem. For this, follow the guide here:
Step 1: Check for cookies and cache
Step 2: Clear cookies and cache
Check for cookies and cache
To check whether it is cookies and cache that are blocking, you can try to access the site in a private/incognito browser as these are disabled in such a browser. These can be accessed as shown below, or using a shortcut:
- In this example we have used Google Chrome, but other browsers also have incognito/private browser windows. When a web-browser is opened, press the three dots in the top right corner
- Then choose New incognito window
Once you open an incognito window, it will look as shown below. From here, you can access vismaaddo.net and try sending the document(s) out again
- How it will look once you access your incognito window
As an alternative, you can use a shortcut to open the incognito window:
- Open a web browser
- Use the following shortcuts to bring up the incognito window:
Windows, Linux or Chrome: Press CTRL + SHIFT + n
Mac: Press ⌘ + SHIFT + n
If you can send the document(s), it has been your cookies + cache that have caused issues. Follow the next steps for a guide on how to remove them. If you are still unable to send, please contact Customer Success at addo.sign@twoday.com.
Clear cookies and cache
To bypass the error message in your "regular" browser, clear your cookies and cache. The cache is used to store information in the browser that makes web pages load faster for you as a user. Cookies track user preferences, and both can sometimes cause loading and formatting problems. Below we go through a step-by-step guide on how to clear these in your browser.
In this example, we have used Google Chrome and opened a new window. Below we will show you how you can see your browser history, in order to clear cookies and cache
- Go to your browser
- Tap on the three dots in the top corner
- Hold your mouse over History
- Press History
You will then access your browser history, from where it is possible to clear browsing data. A pop-up box will appear once you press this tab
- You will then be taken to the History page. Here tap on Clear browsing history
Below, the pop-up box which will appear is shown. From here browsing data can be cleared. Please note that is it possible to change the time range for which the browsing data should be deleted
- When you go through this you will come to a pop-up window. Here you need to check the bottom two
- Then press Clear data
Cookies and cache are now cleared, and you will be able to send documents for signing again
