There are a number of reasons why you have not received an email, we have summarized the most common reasons below.
Promoted inbox
If you have not received an e-mail with the given document, this may be caused the e-mail has ended up in the "promoted” inbox. This is because your email automatically sorts in your inbox, by displaying the content they see as the most "relevant" for you.
However, this promotion section can be disabled so that all mails are in the standard inbox.
If you have not received an email, the promoted inbox will therefore be a good place to start searching.
Spam inbox
If you can not find a document, it may be that the document ended up in the spam section.
The spam section is something mail providers have created, to ensure their users the best possible protection against unwanted mail as well as potential threats.
However, it sometimes happens that other emails end up in the spam section, so it would be a good idea to check if the email can be found there.
Spam filters in relation to Internal politics
If your company has certain internal politics such as as a spam filter, which is provided to protect users in the best way against possible threats. This can contribute to you not receiving the email as the internal politics has set up a kind of wall between you and the email.
Another internal policy that may be to blame for you not receiving a mail is on because your email-domain by default doesn’t receive mail from non-reply email addresses which is what Addo Sign distributes their transactions with.
If this is the case for you, it may be a good idea to contact an IT department or use another email.
Wrong emailadress
A very common mistake can also be that a typing error has been made when entering the email address. It is therefore necessary to check whether it is the correct email address that the transaction has been sent to.
First mail from a new domain with an attachment can sometimes fail
If this is the first time you receive an email from Addo, an error can occur by the email-domain choosing to block the email address, due to a suspicion of spam, possible threats etc.
Try to resend the e-mail to the recipient. This often resolves the issue.
