04.05.2021 11:00 - We unfortunately experience a delay publishing our new TLS check, because we have moved domicile and therefore also on prim server set-up.
Emails will still be sent with an encryption where possible, however the check is whitelisted until we have the opportunity to test and publish or own TLS-check. The release will hopefully happen at the end of this week or the beginning of next.
27.04.2021 08:55 - Unfortunately, there is nothing new in connection with getting the TLS check reactivated. When you as a user want to send a document for signature, all domains are therefore currently "whitelisted". When a domain is whitelisted, it simply means that it does not need to be checked to see if it is being sent with an encrypted connection called TLS. Even if the check does not take place, the majority of all transactions will still be made with TLS encryption. We are working hard to get our own solution up and running so that all email addresses are properly checked for whether they are sent via an encrypted connection or not.
We will update you as soon as there is news in the case.
23.04.2021 09:45 - We have felt it to be necessary to do the workaround again, which means that all email addresses go through the TLS check. However, this does not mean that they will not be sent by TLS if TLS is enabled by the e-mail domain, it simply means that the check has been taken down.
However, we point out that transactions can therefore be made without a TLS encryption, until we have solved these challenges.
Thank you very much for your patience. You are welcome to write or call if you have any questions about this issue.
23.04.2021 09:30 - We have been made aware that there are still inconveniences in connection with our TLS check.
After the challenges on 21.04.2021, we chose to set up and operate our own TLS check, in order to better withstand the challenges that could arise with the TLS check.
Unfortunately, we see today that more customers contact us, as the e-mail addresses they try to send to, fail in the TLS check or that the TLS check "keeps buffering", ie does not move on.
We are aware of the error and have begun a troubleshooting.
New status will come no later than 11:00
22.04.2021 07:55 - We are back to normal operation and our supplier of TLS check is fully functional.
After this incident, we have decided to put this task in-house, as it gives us a better opportunity to be able to control the process and troubleshoot if any problems should arise.
21.04.2021 10:50 - We have made a workaround, which bypasses the original TLS check from our supplier.
We must therefore point out that this solution is temporary and that it is therefore possible to send transactions to non-TLS enabled email addresses.
However, it is the majority of all email addresses that support TLS and have an encryption for e-mails and this also does not mean that transactions via Visma Addo become insecure, but that we temporarily have to bypass an extra security layer.
We hope for understanding and will communicate to you as soon as we have a more permanent solution.
21.04.2021 10:15 - We are currently working hard to find a solution or workaround around our TLS check provider. At the moment we can't say anything about when a solution or workaround will come but we strive to get a solution in place before 12:00.
21.04.2021 09:13 - As our provider of TLS check is currently down, it will therefore not be possible to send out transactions, as emails must go through the TLS check in order to be sent.
There are a few scenarios where the email domain is whitelisted and it is possible to send anyway.
