This month we have a big update, bringing many new features that will greatly increase flexibility while opening up for new possibilities.
We have added 3 new integrations since the previous release.
Now you can both notify and send a copy of all singed and/or approved documents to a SafeCloud account.
Visma HR & Enterprise HRM
We have added post-signing distribution to both Visma and Visma HRM, for those of you who also use these Visma products.
The new integrations can be set up in your account settings under "Distributions". You will notice that you can now have several active distribution methods running at once, and this leads us to...
Distribution can now be set on a per-template level!
You can now set distribution methods for completed transactions on each individual template. Not only that, but you can also activate several distribution methods on a single template at once.
New e-mail design for your signers
We take our customers' customers Addo experience seriously, and will be reexamining the whole signing experience in 2020. As a first step we have revamped our notification, reminder and receipt e-mails to include a timeline that gives your recipients a clear overview of the signing process. The timeline displays:
- When the signing was sent
- Who sent the document(s)
- Which document(s) were sent
- Who else is signing
- Who has signed already
- Who will sign after you
- When the signing deadline is
The new design respects the settings in the "Email contents" settings under templates.
TLS-check of email addresses
Addo relies heavily on security and encryption for the integrity of your transactions. One thing that has caused many issues over the past year is the lack of TLS-encryption support on any old or misconfigured email servers being used by your signers.
Now when you add an email address for one of your recipients, Addo will instantly check if the email is hosted supports TLS encryption. This will prevent notifications from 'bouncing' and you can choose an alternative method for contacting the recipient, such as SMS or e-Boks.
New "My signings" view in transaction overview
Our customers use Addo's digital signing services in many different ways, and some are often included in the signing process itself. We have added a new overview called "My signings" where it is possible to see any incomplete transactions where your Addo account's e-mail was used for one of the signers. This also includes signings sent by colleagues using the same Addo Account.
Addo Print now supports hidden fields in Word documents
When you send signings via Addo Print Driver, you can now fill in any hidden fields in Word that Addo supports. One example could be 'reference number'.
We have added a new 2-step authentication method called "secret code". This is a way to prevent unauthorised access to the documents in our signing portal by using a previously agreed code or "secret handshake" that only you and your recipient are in possession of. This could be any alpha-numeric code.
Data Anonymization Service
Addo has always used a level of deleting sensitive data when it is no longer needed. As soon as a transaction is complete, we scramble any social security numbers that were entered in Addo. 10 days after the transaction has passed its deadline, we delte any documents in the transaction.
Now, in order to be fully compliant with our ISAE 3402 security certification, we have added a feature that you can enable to delete all personally identifiable information from transactions 10 days after they have passed their deadline. We highly recommend that you use this feature so your company's handling of customer data id GDPR-compliant, and we recommend reading about the feature in our support site, as well as any alerts Addo will show when you are about to activate it.
Addo Forms: date picker & checkboxes
You can now ask question that can be answered using a date-picker (calendar) which ensures a consistent date format. You can also ask questions that can be answered using one or more checkboxes.
