NemID is expired yesterday, Tuesday 31 October, so we have put together a short guide on how to deal with this - Both as sender and signer.
Change from NemID to MitID
NemID has been in limited operation since June 30, and the process of phasing out NemID is expected to continue until October 31, 2023. On that date, Tuesday, October 31, 2023, NemID is expected to be permanently disabled and no longer available.
If you have not ordered a MitID, you can do so here:
Private: https://www.mitid.dk/?language=da-dk
Business: https://mitid-erhverv.dk/
What does it mean to you?
We will automatically convert previous transations sent with NemID, which have not yet been signed, so that the signer must sign the documents with MitID rather than NemID - which is no longer active.
As the sender, you therefore do not have to do anything actively, as we will make the change for you ourselves and therefore ensure that the signatories can still sign the documents with their MitID.
If the signers has not managed to switch to MitID
If signers have not managed to switch to MitID, as a workaround it can be chosen that the signer must use a different signature method than "NemID/MitID".
Therefore, you can choose to use "ok button", "approve" or "touch screen" signature, either with or without a 2-factor identification method beforehand: "sms code" or "secret code"
You can see how to change the identification and signing method here: https://support.vismaaddo.net/hc/en-us/articles/6045775242770-Change-identification-and-signing-method
